Brief Bio:
I am presently a PhD candidate in the Data Compression and Algorithms Group at
Brandeis University. I received my B.E.
in Mechanical Engineering from Vishwakarma
Institute of Technology in Pune, India and my M.S in
Computer Science from
Brandeis.
Research:
I am working on building statistical models, Vector quantizers in particular,
for the Content-based image
retrieval (CBIR) problem.
My advisers are Jim Storer
and Martin Cohn.
