Browsing an Individual Puzzle Page:
Clicking on a photo or graphic gives an enlargement.
Clicking on a page title gives a better typeset PDF version of that page.
Clicking on a link in page text goes to somewhere else in this book.
Links in further reading are external to this book.
Browsing the Complete Book:
Viewing the complete book allows one to both move around via links
and also to scroll from a point forward or back.
This should only be done with a reasonably fast internet download speed
(e.g., at least 10 megabits per second)
and it may be necessary to wait at bit after clicking on the book link
(e.g., a minute)
until the book is fully loaded and can be viewed and navigated
(it may also be necessary to increase the cache / database settings of the browser).
Download a PDF Of the Complete Book:
A PDF of the book
can be downloaded by clicking here,
although it may be a bit out of date with respect to
printing the current version of the puzzle book:

Creating a PDF of the Complete Book:
On the author's Apple computer,
one can create a pdf of the complete book by viewing the book in
Safari
browser,
and then doing print / save as pdf
(being sure to specify that no headers and footers are to be added).
However, on another machine and / or browser,
it may be necessary to check that page boundaries are correct.
If each puzzle page does not start on a new physical page,
then the browser is not interpreting the HTML page break instructions
(and a different browser may be needed).
Otherwise,
puzzle page numbers should have a one-to-one
correspondence to physical page numbers
(depending on how many pages are used for the table of contents,
the first page after the table of contents may not have exactly the same
page number as the physical page number of the pdf file,
but that is ok so long as from this point on there is a one-to-one correspondence).
If not,
it is because some puzzle pages
(that should come out on a single physical page)
are overflowing to two pages.
To fix this, first check that the print driver / pdf creator is not adding headers
and footers that are taking too much space,
or try again with the document scaled down a bit
(e.g., specify 95 percent size to the print driver);
alternately,
print the table of contents separately and then for the rest specify 8.5 x 14
inch legal paper and after the pdf file is formed,
electronically crop it back to 8.5 by 11 inches.
